Recently, Hebei Cangzhou Wind Field Project is under intensive construction which is the first project of VESTAS this year. Far East is responsible for providing Cold-resistant and Torsion-resistant Flexible Cable for High Electrical Performance LSLH MV Wind Power. This cable can be adapted to any harsh environment. The cable should have good low-temperature resistance, UV resistance and weather-ageing resistance if they are placed in places with cold air temperature and the large temperature difference between day and night. It also should have good torsional resistance, oil resistance and corrosion resistance. Moreover, the cable laying is much more convenient and safer.

Offshore wind power cables are more demanding than onshore ones. The offshore wind speed is fast, the wind direction is stable, and the power generation is high. However, the cable is operated for a long time under heavy load, and the cable itself generates severe heat, which is difficult to maintain and requires high reliability. Moreover, the operating environment is of high humidity, high salt spray and high heat, and the ageing condition is more severe.
300 MW Demonstration Project of Offshore Wind Farm in Leting Bodhi Island, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, the first low-temperature offshore wind field in China, adopted the cables from Far East. Far East also provided a full set of systematic product solutions for the project, which not only contributed to the smooth completion of the project but also reduced the overall cost by more than 30%, genuinely focusing on the interests of customers.
