On October 22, the 2016 Ai You Charity Night hosted by Ai You Foundation (Ai You for short) wrapped up in Beijing. As the highest standard and largest scale annual dinner appreciating donators, the Ai You Charity Night gathered power from top domestic entrepreneurs and community of caring people such as Ma Huateng, the CEO of Tencent, Li Yanhong, the CEO of Baidu, Li Jiajie, the vice-president of Henderson real estate, Fenglun, the president of Vantone, Shen Guojun, the president of Yintai Group, Jiang Nanchun and the CEO of Focus Media. Zhou Dongjiao, the assistant president and CAO of Far East, secretary general and executive director of Far East Foundation and Kong Qunling, the principle of party and mass organization of Far East Group were invited to attend the dinner, who got “Wu Dao Poem” with RMB 4 million at the auction, the calligraphy work by Master Hsing Yun.
As one of the most influential charity activities, the theme of Ai You Charity Night this year was love, melody of time. At the auction link, valuable jewels and collection of traditional Chinese paintings were popularly auctioned by caring people. Every paddle was full of love and very picture was touching. Finally, “Wu Dao Poem” was auctioned by Far East Foundation with RMB 4 million at the auction, the calligraphy work by Master Hsing Yun, which contributed to the charity project with great love. In addition, the dinner had the best advertisement line-up ever, which was fully supported by top platforms like Homelink, WeChat Moments, Alipay, Baidu, Focus Media, Sina Weibo, TouTiao, IQiyi, Didi Chuxing, Youku and Ctrip.
At last, Wang Bing, the director of Ai You Foundation and all caring people present announced the total amount of donation was RMB 251.5 million.
The Far East Group always attached great importance to philanthropy and took actively social responsibility. Ai You Foundation was established in 2004, through 12 years of exploring and development, Ai You formed two matrix including assistance to orphan and poor children and venture philanthropy. With comprehensive upgrade of assistance to orphan and poor children matrix, it formed the specific “Ai You Model”. Apart from children’s medical assistance, it gave support to clinical researches and established the first domestic children’s CHD database. Ai You made full use of internet thinking to realize the efficient integration of resource and build new public interest ecology.
