Far East Invited to Attend Manila Conference, Boao Forum for Asia 2019
On April 22, the 2019 Boao Forum for Asia Manila Conference kicked off. More than 500 participants from Asian countries and regions discussed topics such as strengthening regional cooperation and realizing common development in Asia. Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. The two-day conference, with the theme of “Concerted Action for Common Development in the New Era”, aims to encourage Chinese entrepreneurs to have a thorough understanding of economic situation, investment and business environment, and investment policies in the Philippine, and further connect the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) of China with development strategies of the Philippines and ASEAN countries.
This is also the first time that the Boao Forum for Asia has been held in the Philippines for 18 years. The Philippines, as the main initiator of the forum and coordinator of the relationship between China and ASEAN countries, has attached great importance to this conference.
This conference was full of highlights. It was held between the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2019 and the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (Beijing), which would build consensus on cooperation such as the BRI and regional connectivity, bring positive information to promote the prosperity and development of Asian-Pacific region; the Philippines, the host country of the conference, is one of the initiators of the Boao Forum for Asian and has just took over the position as coordinator of the relationship between China and ASEAN countries last year. The conference has invited famous guests. For example, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Philippines and Zhou Xiaochuan, Vice Chairman of Boao Forum for Asia delivered keynote speeches. Besides, Li Baodong, Secretary General of Boao Forum for Asia and Guo Ningning, Vice Governor of Fujian Province of China and other guests made speeches.
