Jiang Xipei Invited to Attend Symposium on the 40th Anniversary of China Enterprise Confederation
On April 3, the Symposium on the 40th Anniversary of China Enterprise Confederation/China Enterprise Directors Association (CEC/CEDA for short) was held. Wang Zhongyu, President of CEC/CEDA presided over the symposium and delivered a speech. Yuan Baohua, the Founding President, who is already 104 years old, sent his regards by video. In addition, Zhu Hongren, Executive Vice President and Chairman of CEC/CEDA, Zhao Aiming, Deputy Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), Lian Weiliang, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, Xu Lejiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Wang Xinzhe, Chief Economic Manager of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as well as leaders of relevant national ministries and commissions, leaders who had worked in CEC/CEDA, entrepreneurs, presidents of national trade associations, presidents of branches of CEC/CEDA, and representatives of veteran comrades attended the symposium.
Jiang Xipei, Founder, Chairman of the Board and Secretary of Party Committee of Far East Holding Group, who also serves as the Vice President of the business sector of CEC/CEDA, participated in the symposium and gave a speech.

At the symposium, the President, Wang Zhongyu, put forward requirements for the current and future work of CEC/CEDA, stressed that efforts should be made to focus on the center and for the overall situation and we should consciously devote ourselves to and serve the overall economic and social development; gather high-quality resources to provide services to help enterprises improve their competitiveness; lay emphasis on the relevant work for the representatives of employers’ organizations and further improve the ability and quality of the work; strengthen international cooperation and boost enterprises to actively carry out international operations; innovate brand activities to reflect the service function of the association and highlight its influence; strengthen self-building so as to improve the comprehensive service ability and quality.
Zhu Hongren, Executive Vice President and Chairman of CEC/CEDA, introduced that CEC/CEDA has contributed to China’s economic construction, performed the duties as a representative organization, served the governments, enterprises and entrepreneurs with brand activities, pushed forward the building of entrepreneurship team, and carried out international exchanges and cooperation in the past 40 years. At last, he summarized the important experiences in its development and put forward his expectation on the future work direction.
At the symposium, Zhao Aiming, Deputy Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), Lian Weiliang, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, Xu Lejiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Wang Xinzhe, Chief Economic Manager of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology fully recognized and highly praised the efforts made by CEC/CEDA in the past 40 years in giving advice and promoting the reform, innovation and development of enterprises. Besides, they also hoped that CEC/CEDA would adapt to the new situation and requirements, take the initiative to embrace the responsibility with passion, actively participate in social governance, give full play to its role in making new contributions to sustained and sound economic development.
Jiang Xipei makes a speech at the symposium
First of all, Jiang Xipei congratulated the 40th anniversary of CEC/CEDA and showed his gratitude for the opportunities given to entrepreneurs, especially private enterprises over the 40 years. In particular, the two symposia impressed him most. One was on August 10, 2018, Vice President Zhu Hongren led the entrepreneurs to the State Council to attend the symposium on cost reduction and burden reduction. The other one was on October 29, 2018, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce recommended the entrepreneurs to attend the symposium on optimizing the business environment. On the symposia, the relevant suggestions put forward were highly recognized by the central leaders and were responded one by one, thus further enhancing the confidence of entrepreneurs and private enterprises.
Jiang Xipei pointed out that be good at creating and passing on values was the value of the enterprises. Enterprises and entrepreneurs are not only people on our own side, but also the people the CPC Central Committee and the State Council care about most. It was hoped that there would be better theoretical and institutional innovations. For example, whether we could stick to “one unswerving measure”, that was, we should steadfastly support the innovation and sustainable development of China’s good enterprises, follow the leadership of the Party, adhere to the market-oriented principle and have a proper and precise understanding of “the four dividends”, i.e., releasing institutional dividend, gaining the dividend of confidence, creating brand dividend and grasping the talent dividend, thus truly ensuring the sustainable development of China’s economy and society.
Jiang Xipei, serves as the Vice President of the business sector of CEC/CEDA, said frankly that Far East Holding Group has gone through 34 years and hoped that we could truly understand this era and keep abreast of the time and the nation to do more for the benefit of others and society, as well as for the future and hope of enterprises.
Jiang Xipei stressed that there was no need to discuss whether we should care about or support private entrepreneurs or private enterprises. The most important thing was how to support and implement the movements. As a member of the enterprise, we cherished the hard-won achievements very much; we would also advance and enrich the spirit of enterprises, especially Chinese entrepreneurs, thus making China more competitive and more influential worldwide, and promoting the sustainable development of China’s economy and society.
Senior leaders and veteran comrades who had worked in CEC/CEDA delivered speeches and reviewed the development process of CEC/CEDA. They also raised high expectations for CEC/CEDA to further play its role in serving the government, enterprises, and entrepreneurs. Liu Shiquan, Xiong Qunli, Liu Mingzhong, Song Zhiping, Zhang Daocai, Zhang Yuliang and other vice presidents of the business sector of CEC/CEDA, leaders of national trade associations such as China Machinery Industry Federation and some representatives of branches of CEC/CEDA also made speeches at the symposium. They appreciated the efforts and contributions of CEC/CEDA in serving enterprises and entrepreneurs by giving full play to the linking roles and put forward the further development expectations for CEC/CEDA.
